Hadn't planned a cycle as forecast pretty dire
Woke 0900 to sunny am so decided to go
Met up with 'Old' Tom, Jamie, Mark, and Eddie.
Set off south into the wind via Sywell to Billing & Cogenhoe
The sky darkened & rain fell but we flew back with the wind! memories of wind assisted stretches on LEJOG.
Damp but welcome hot shower at finish - Brilliant ride - legs still strong.

Pushed it hard getting to Deene village in 1h & kettering Athletics Club in 2 hrs. Will be a tough circuit to do in <2hrs!
Great conditions today, almost percet apert from some slippery leaves...

11/10/09 Kettering CC

Met up with a few of the Kettering CC lads at Sainsburys 0930 on a grey morning.
Glad to hear it was the annual 'Freerolling' Competition. We cycled over to Cransley & rolled down the hill as far as we could!
We then headed out via Sywell, accross to Brixworth & home via Naseby. Old Tom kept me company & it felt great to be out on a long ride again.
